The SAA Football Program are members of the G7 Flag Football/Passing League. Flag Football/7v7 is a highly recommended part of our offseason program. We use this sport to teach our youth some of the fundamentals that will prepare them for the upcoming tackle football season.

FLAG FOOTBALL

• Ages 5 through 7
• MAX ROSTER SIZE - 15 PLAYERS per team.
• 8 game season plus Playoffs.
• NO HELMETS REQUIRED.
• SEASON starts April 15.
• TOURNAMENT dates are April 15, April 22, April 29, and May 13.
• Playoffs and Championship are on May 29 (Memorial Day Weekend)

7on7 PASSING LEAGUE FLAG FOOTBALL

• 8YO, 9YO, 10YO, 11YO, 12YO, 13YO/RISING 8TH GRADERS
• MAX ROSTER SIZE - 20 PLAYERS per team
• 4 regular season tournaments, minimum of 2 games per tournament
• HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPETE!!! Parents must provide Helmet.
• Friday Night Lights scrimmage games March 31.
• SEASON starts April 15.
• TOURNAMENT dates are April 15, April 22, April 29, and May 13.
• Playoffs and Championship are on May 29 (Memorial Day Weekend)

LINEMAN CHALLENGE

• AGES - 8YO, 9YO, 10YO, 11YO, 12YO, 13YO/RISING 8TH GRADERS
• MINIMUM ROSTER SIZE - 5 Players with a MAX of 12 players.
• HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPETE!!! Parents must provide helmet.
• 6-10 events per tournament (Only 1st & 2nd Place Winners)
• EVENTS - Bull in the Ring, Farmers Walk, Bench Press, Tug of War, Medicine Ball Throw, Obstacle Course, Power Drive, Tire Flip, QB Sack Course, and more.
• SEASON starts April 15.
• TOURNAMENT dates are April 15, April 22, April 29, and May 13.
